Let’s get one thing straight right off the bat: they may share a last name, but Ivanka Trump is nothing like her dad. A proponent of helping women succeed in the work force, Ivanka launched the #WomenWhoWork hashtag two years ago to raise awareness, and now she’s writing a brand new book dedicated to the topic.

She described her inspiration for the book to Elle as,

“I was really convinced that we needed to change the dialogue around women and work. This is a conversation that’s so much bigger than me and we’re really looking forward to hearing your input.”

She announced the title of her new book on her website as Women Who Work: Redefining the Rules for Success. According to Amazon’s description the book, “will establish a new ideal, changing the conversation around women and work to one that’s more positive, accurate, and inclusive.”

Sounds good to us!

Although she works for the family business, Ivanka has worked hard to establish herself as her own business woman, launching her eponymous fine jewelry collection and fashion brand, maintaining a successful modeling career, writing her own books, and graduating cum laude from Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.

If you ask me, there’s nothing more incredible than a woman who’s in charge of her own destiny—and working daily to make her dreams a reality.”

YAS Ivanka! We may not be a fan of your dad but you have more than proved that you are your own person and we can’t wait to read your new book and join the conversation.
